Which Action Hero Would You Be? v. 2.0
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow

Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

Subject:ah man... this is gonna suck.
Time:5:20 pm.
So my mom's cousin and his wife are coming over for dinner tonight. I love Ron, he is a great guy that likes to drink wine, laugh, and tell stories. His wife, Sid, on the other hand can go to hell. She can go to hell and she can die! It is not that she is an awful person, she has always been really generous, and she loves us all, but MY GOD IS SHE FUCKING RUDE! She wont let anyone talk for more than five seconds without her interrupting with one of her ego trips, and if you happen to disagree with her on something, you had better watch out, she will tell you that you suck and here's why. Before when they would come over, I had a defense mechanism, Elizabeth. We would be able to retreat to the other room, or I would have to walk her home (and conveniently stay there for the evening), but alas, that is no longer an option; I know have to suffer through it alone. fuck. Forget romance and love and all that bullshit, all I really need a girlfriend for is to protect me from that 鬼婆。

Subject:Intro totally swiped from Kyl, but still appropriate for me.
Time:8:07 pm.
Not a big fan of memes. Am a big fan of procrastination. In this one instance, and due to the fact that this meme is slightly better than others, I shall participate!

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better. If I already know you well, expect the questions may be a little more intimate!
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

from Kyl:

1. Favorite time period?
As far as western history, probably Ancient Greece. They seemed to have a nice combo of worldly pleasures and philosophy and science. Also, I like the period between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM
2. Favorite Star Wars Character, and why?
That would have to be Uncle Owen. I mean really, props to him for putting up with Luke's pansy ass for 20 some years. Either that, or Yoda\Obe-Wan... I have a thing for crazy hermits.....
3. Best way to procrastinate.
Well, apparently memes are a good way, it sure seems to be working now. But in general, interwebs are good, and lately random excursions downtown have eaten my time most throughly.
4. If you were to learn that you would die within the hour, what would you do?
Spend 45 minutes with whichever friend was available at the time, offload every secret I have on them, then probably spend the rest meditating
5. Someone has wronged you grievously. How do you get revenge?
For the sake of this question, lets just forget I am extremely non-confrontational. I would probably take what ever they did to me, approach them with it, and find a way to completely, utterly and totally destroy all self-esteem, confidence, and dignity they have within them and leave them as nothing more than a pile of perambulating jelly futilely searching for a meaning to it's pained existence.

Subject:^_____^
Time:11:46 pm.
Mood: jubilant.
Seriously, I think I have the best friends ever.
As I was walking to Finders Keepers to talk wit the lady about getting a job there, Kevin called me up and said since it is my birthday, we should do something. I had made very little mention of my birthday to everyone, and even then, I thought they all forgot, so that was extraordinarily nice. So I went to Finders Keepers, talked with the lady, then called Jeff and Jenn up (for we had made plans to hang out for a while in the afternoon the previous night) and confirmed that we were still on. I walked over and met Jeff to do some shopping at the Rosaures near their place. So we went there, and then to his apartment, were Jenn cooked us really good Mexican food... seriously it was delicious! Jeff and I hung out, played video games, and talked. I knew that he, Jenn, Emily, and Byron had plans for the night, so I knew I would have to go after a while. But then Emily called and said that Kevin had just talked to her about it being my birthday, and she wanted me to come along. So we all went to sushi.com and ordered sushi and appetizers (which every one agreed to chip in and pay for my way). Kevin, Mark, Justine, Jon and I were planning on going to a movie after that, so we had to get our sushi to go. We saw the Last King Of Scotland which was amazing. Afterward we spent an hour walking through downtown spokane, looking for a cafe that was still open, but gave up because it was late and kevin had a lot of driving to do. On our way back up to the parking garage, we decided to see if ben and jerry's was still open, which it was (just barley). We all got ice cream (which I didn't have to pay for because I knew the person working the counter, and she is bad-ass... she didn't even know it was my b-day and she gave me free ice cream) and hung around the amc until it closed and we had to go.

I can't even describe how grateful I am to everyone. I have never had friends that would go so far out of their way for me. I had planned none of this, and everyone came together for me and it was great. Just Jenn cooking for me meant a lot, and when everyone payed for my dinner, I couldn't stop blushing because I was just so amazingly happy that I had these great people around me. Thanks everyone!

Subject:Antique clothing and jewelry are cool i guess...
Time:6:28 pm.
Mood: amused.
Before I get to the actual entry, I wish to present this, which has changed my life:

Brilliant! I totally made the scene with bender explaining irony my new ring-tone....

NEway...

So after entering Spokane from Cheney today, I again threw all my cards to the wind to see where fate would take me. I ended up deciding to go to 1st ave and look at the interesting shops there, and I eventually found my way to finders keepers (which actually has very little in the way for men's things in general). I spent some time perusing there, looking at all the interesting vintage clothing\jewelry\furniture then I noticed that they had a "now accepting applications" sign. At first I didn't really think anything of it, but then who I thought was the manager (but who just turned out to be another employee) started talking to me, and in our conversation I decided to ask for an application. He seemed excited at this because he was the only other guy there. He said he really wanted some more testosterone there. So I went across the street to the rocket there, and filled out their application, and turned it in. So I am going to go down there tomorrow and talk to the manager. I really hope I get it, I could use a job... money is nice.

In other news, I was the but end of some pretty blatant homophobia today (though I guess I was kinda provoking it). Jen and Kevin wanted me to give lewd\suggestive looks to random people walking by for their amusement. Then these three 16 year old skater kids came walking in to the PUB and Kevin and Jen wanted me to do it to them. So I stood up, leaned against the paino (with my ass in the most outrageous angle) and said "heeey..." in possibly the most homosexual voice I could conjure. All three, as if in a wave turned towards me, saw me, and stared at me in horror\disbelief. It was hilarious. They came back later to go back to their skating, and as they passed by we all saw them muttering "fucking fag" on their way through the door. Once they were outside, they came to the window we were sitting by and flipped me off (to which I responded with a looks straight in the eye and an upraised middle finger to match his). They were all congregated directly outside the door waiting for me to come out, probably to jump me. We were going the other way anyway, and seeing as how they were standing next to a window\wall, I decided to give them a final show. As we were walking away, I grabbed Kevin around the shoulders, and started to walk away, with my hand slowly heading south.... it was badass.

So I have now two days left to get all my shit together for my transfer application for UW. How in god's name could I have been forgetting to do this! ARGH!!! Not only do I have to go make sure that I can even get eastern to send my transcripts into them on time, I have to write a fucking kickass essay to mask over not the best academic career (not that I am a bad student, just I get bored easily ^^). I have no idea what to write about, or even HOW to write it. Last year I did a narrative for all my entrance essays, it was good, but I am not sure if I can come up with a narrative that will tell them all they want to know. I could just do a well-organized essay directly answering all their questions, but they kinda hint they don't want that either. "depth and quality of writing will be taken into account" or something like that. Plus, dry essays don't stand out.

On top of all that, I have to do a couple more essays for my Ethics midterm. That shouldn't be too hard, just time consuming.

I guess, on some level, this is good though. All my classes have been really boring, and easy, so now I actually have work to do. YAY!

be careful what you wish for

so.. uh... nobody i know was at Northtown Mall today, right? Apparently there was some sort of gas released into there that made everyone have weird symptoms. crazy...

on a happier note, I found a mixed CD that my brother Ben gave me a couple years ago for my birthday. It just has a lot of music that he likes. He gave me fours CDs with music in no particular order, but the third one just happened to have all amazingly great stuff that I really liked. Of course that is the one I lost. BUT IT IS NOW FOUND. I am going to have to figure out what all the stuff on it is. He gave me a paper with the titles and artists, but I don't know where it is right now. Maybe I will email him or something...

I now have a facebook, go and friend me on there!

Yeah... all I did today was sit in front of my computer... it was pretty awesome. My mom left fore Seattle, but her flight almost got canceled because of the fog this morning. I was going to go to my friends presentation on genocide early this afternoon, but mom leaving completely distracted me, so I spaced it.

ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL STILL IN SPOKANE AREA!

My birthday is on the 17th, which is fast approaching (next Saturday in fact), I am thinking going to sushi.com and\or doing a movie. Doing this on Saturday sounds good to me, but I have no preconceived plans for what I want to do. RSVP with what works for you.

Subject:Another icon...
Time:10:05 pm.
Mood:centered.
I have totally been wanting to do this icon for a awhile, I also want to make it a t-shirt. Yeah... that would be bad ass...

So today was pretty cool, after classes I hung out at school for a while, got a ride home, then spent the entire rest of the day downtown. Not really doing anything in particular, just sitting, reading, wandering, and watching people. Taking your day, and only applying whatever direction the wind gives it is a really freeing thing to do. I did notice that people get uncomfortable when you stare at them directly in the eye. I think one girl thought I was hitting on her (she was somewhat attractive, but that is also kinda creepy... random guy stares at you at the bus plaza whilst pacing back and forth waiting for his bus... sketchy...). Reading Haruki Murakami in public is actually quite nice. He has a very simple writing style, and often he has characters that at one time or another are going through some sort of simplification in their lives (whether they are simple people, or they are trying to calm down their lives, or just nothing is happening to them at the time). Reading about things like that while you are in a bustling public place really has a calming and almost euphoric effect on one's self. I would recommend to read anything by Haruki Murakami anyway, but I would doubly suggest you read it in public.

After my wanderings (which was a good 5 hours I think) my mom and dad took us all out to Anthony's seafood. Mom is leaving to help my sister out with having her new baby (Edward Niles Knickerbocker... Niles is my dad's name ^^) and she is feeling a little stressed by it so we took her out for oysters, which my dad hates, and my mom loves.

Again, feel free to link to the icon... i guess with this one, if people ask "where from" just lead them my way.

Time:5:09 pm.
Music:auf asche - franz ferdinand.
Went out to sushi.com the other day with Kevin, Justine, and Emily. That was pretty kick ass. I haven't been there forever, and I really didn't want to go there by myself, because that would just feel sad. Afterwards, Emily and I went to Aunties to hang out while her dad was on her way to pick her up. While there I happened to see one of my last quarter's teachers, specifically my music in the humanities teacher who is a cool lady (a music comp grad student). we talked for a while, I told her I was learning piano (this meeting was kinda odd, because the next day, while I was waiting for my parents downtown, I just happened to see her at panda express, eating lunch\dinner. She might give me lessons, which is a good).

Nothing to much happened yesterday (except for the afore mentioned). I had to sing for choir for a complin service, which kinda sucked because that means I have choir two nights in a row.

on a separate note:

Ungekannte, oder neue, Liebe stinkt.

Adjektiven auch. Es ist ein jahre gewesen seit ich Deutsch studierte. Ich fühle es von mir gehen. Ich weiß nicht sondern diesen Satz korrekt ist. ach....

I think i am going to make icons... I have made one already, unless you go to eastern with me, it wont make much since, but here it is any way

feel free to link to it, whatevs...
